More About Our Company

Schaffer Environmental President

Mark Schaffer

Mark Schaffer is Principal and Owner of Schaffer Environmental LLC.  Mr. Schaffer has over ten years of hands-on electronic industry compliance and regulatory development engagements to apply real world experiences to existing and emerging environmental trends.  He served on the Board of Advisors for the Green Electronics Council from 2006-2008 and continues to work with them to develop their compliance training program.  Prior to founding Schaffer Environmental, Mr. Schaffer worked for Canon, Dell and Supply Chain Consulting in a variety of engineering and environmental positions.

Mr. Schaffer is also a professional photographer.   For the past fifteen years, he has found a niche taking pictures at sporting and community events.   Since moving to Austin over five years ago, he has immersed himself into the “Weird Austin” experience and taken many pictures of local importance.  He has taken pictures for local events such as Dennis Quaid’s Texas Hold ‘Em and Golf Weekend, Look For Love Charity Event, and the Senior Olympic Games.

Mr. Schaffer also routinely travels for his work and has been taking photographs of some of Europe’s greatest architecture.  He has an affinity for the lines and light that play around beautiful buildings.  His travels include Paris, Vienna, Shanghai, Bangkok, Vancouver, Rome as well as around the US.  However, his favorite subject is thMark Schaffere Texas capitol!

He has become interested in HDR (high dynamic range) photography recently and has learned how to manipulate his images in Photoshop to intensify the colors to really make them “pop”.  His images are routinely on display at local coffee shops and shows as well as his website.
